Special Buses for Saudatti Jatre: NWKRTC Makes Travel Easier for Devotees
Hubballi: The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) is facilitating devotees and travelers attending the Saundatti Yellamma Fair by organizing special buses from Hubballi and Navalgund. H. Ramanagowdar, Divisional Controller of Hubballi Rural Division, announced that these special buses will run from February 21 to March 10, coinciding with the grand Jatre celebration for Bharath Hunnime.
Expecting heavy traffic on key dates, including February 24, 25, 27, and March 1, a total of 60 additional Jatra special buses, 50 from Hubballi and 10 from Navalgund to Saundatti Yellammangudda, have been arranged. The route for Hubballi buses includes Dharwad, Ammanbhavi, and Saundatti, while Navalgund buses will ply through Gobbaragumpi Cross, Gobbaragumpi, Alagavadi Hanchinaal, and Hirekumbi.
To ensure a smooth operation, over 150 drivers and conductors, 10 supervisory officers, and 20 supervisory staff have been deployed. The number of buses will be adjusted based on passenger traffic. Departures from Hubballi will be from the Hosur Bus Stand.
